One alien, countless experiments, a whole new playground.
Ali the Alien is an original Lightfarm Studios® research project created to explore how generative AI can work alongside animation and CGI while keeping visual consistency and artistic control at the center of the process.

Originally created as a character for Back to the Moon, Ali became a creative testing ground for new software and AI workflows. Each experiment gave us room to test, refine and understand what could become part of our pipeline, turning an original project into research that can inform future commercial productions.

That's part of what our Originals are built for: creating characters and worlds we want to see while giving new technology a place to be explored, challenged and shaped before we take those learnings further.
Ali the Alien may be the experiment. What we learn from him goes far beyond one alien.
