Miles Morales

A great reference inspires. A great set makes it real.
This original Lightfarm project began after we came across a Miles Morales illustration by artist Mayara Sampaio. Our goal was to bring that artwork into the real world by combining photography, 3D and post-production to create a realistic series of images.

We invited model Cauê Campos to bring the character to life. Besides his striking resemblance to Miles, he is also the brother of the character's Brazilian voice actor in Spider-Verse, and immediately agreed to join the project. From there, every stage of the production was carefully planned to preserve the visual strength of the original illustration.
